Any shopkeeper and other business person can also take franchisees and do postal work as well as their business. You also have to make a security deposit to take a franchisee. The security deposit is in the form of NSC. Minimum security deposit is Rs. 5,000. Security Deposit can be increased on the basis of your daily average business.
You can book money orders, registry, speed post. Apart from this, you can also book stamps, stationary sales, e-post. You will get the facility of bulk booking of registered / speed post. You can also make the postal department’s bill, tax, file collection and payment services available to the customers. You will earn from all these services. However, you can not book money orders of less than Rs. 100.
You will get Rs. 3 on every registered article, 5 rupees on the speed post booking. At the same time, Rs. 3.50 on the money order of Rs. 100-200 and Rs. 5 on the money order of more than 200. More than 1000 articles will get 20 percent on the registry, postage stamps, 5 percent of total sales on the postal stationery, and 40 percent commission on retail services, revenue stamps and central recruitment fees. If you work in mind, you will get 40 thousand rupees per month.
