Since April 1, 2017, SBI has merged with State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore and Indian Women Bank. Application for check book before March 31, even after increasing this recognition, the bank has requested all the customers to apply for a new check book before March 31. After March 31, the old check of any subsidiary bank or Indian woman bank will not be valid. For new checkbook, you can apply from internet banking, mobile banking or ATM. Apart from this, going to the branch can also be applied for a new check book. The bank has changed the date of depositing the check book twice in 2017, the last date has changed three times. First of all, the order came from the bank that all the 5 banks will be treated as invalid after depositing after September 30, 2017. After that, the time of December 31, 2017 was given, and now the time has been given till March 31, 2018. In the case of State Bank of Bikaner, and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Tranvakor and Indian Women Bank have been invalidating the checks of all the banks. It is such that the share of these banks was 90% of SBI's in SBI, such as State Bank of Mysore, in State Bank of India, whereas in Bikaner and Jaipur there was 75.07% stake. SBI's stake in Travancore is 79.09 per cent. So if you do not want to have any kind of financial transactions, then change the check book before March 31.
